This weekend, I will be running my fifth race in 6 months. I did not start trying to run because I loved it, I did it because I was mad that I didn’t think I could do it. So, I set out to prove myself wrong. See what I was made of. I’ve made great progress (could not run in Nov of last year) and am learning so much about myself in creating and sticking to this habit. Determination goes a long way. Running has a huge impact on my life, health and confidence. I’d say we are kind of friends now.
